Welcome to Henry Island in the San Juan Islands!
 Henry Island is one of the San Juan Islands of San Juan County, Washington, USA. Lying just off the northwest shore of San Juan Island, small Pearl Island also lies between Henry Island and San Juan Island at its northern end. Except for Stuart Island, Henry Island is the westernmost of the San Juan Islands. It has a land area of 4.126 sq km (1.593 sq mi) and has a small permanent population.
Here's a little bit about the island's history.
Shaped like an "H" and located just west of San Juan Island's Roche Harbor, it protects several bays in that general area (Here's a good map to show you where we are - look at the "H"-shaped island in the northwest corner, next to Roche Harbor. You can't miss it!). There is good fishing and whale watching of its south and west shores. A total of 191 parcels are in place, with 178 along the waterfront, and 114 considered improved. Its land parcels are provately owned, apart form the 80 acres on the southwest side that are part of a lighthouse reservation. By the way, the shoreline at the lighthouse is steep and rocky, making landings hazardous.
